Harold Daggett, president of the International Longshoremen Association, and James Capo, chair and CEO of the United States Maritime Alliance, sit down to discuss upcoming contract negotiations and labor relations during a session at TPM Long Beach 2012. In this podcast, Capo, who speaks first on behalf of the USMX, says that he believes the two sides will be able to reach an agreements on a contract without port disruption, while Daggett, speaking on behalf of the ILA, says a union strike is possible if workers can't secure a new contract with acceptable terms. JOC Editor Joseph Bonney moderates.
