2013 Regulatory Updates Focus of NAMEPA’s Houston Event
HOUSTON — Clay Maitland, Founding Chairman of the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA), announced NAMEPA’s Environmental Intelligence in Maritime Seminar focusing on 2013 Regulatory Updates for shipping and offshore. The seminar is designed to bring forward updates on environmental and seafarer updates and will be held on January 16th at the Houston Hyatt Regency Hotel beginning at 1330hrs.
The Environmental Intelligence in Maritime Seminar will feature RADM Roy Nash, United States Coast Guard; Rob Lorigan of OSG; Jon Waldron and Alan Weigel of Blank Rome LLP; Tom Kirk of ABS; Alexandra Anagnostis of Total Marine Solutions; T.J. Broussard of the Bureau of Safety Environment Enforcement; Patrick Kelly of Kirby Corporation’ Captain Anuj Chopra of Anglo-Eastern Ship Management; James Spear; Karen Parsons from the Seafarers Center of Galveston and an educator from Texas A&M.
