Adam R. Kokas of Atlas Air Selected as New Chairman of Cargo Airline Association

(Washington, D.C., June 29, 2011). Adam R. Kokas, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer and Secretary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAWW), has been selected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cargo Airline Association. Mr. Kokas succeeds Bob Gray, Vice President, Flight Operations, of ABX Air who has held the position for the past several years. Mr. Gray will remain on the Board.

Mr. Kokas joined the Atlas family in 2006 after more than ten years in private practice, specializing in all aspects of corporate and securities, finance and business law. In his current position, Mr. Kokas is responsible for providing legal, human resources and business counsel to all levels of the Company. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and Boston University School of Law (cum laude).

Stephen A. Alterman, President of the Association, commented that: “All of us in the industry welcome Adam as our new Chairman and look forward to working with him on the many challenges we face.
