Arkansas Trucking Association Announces Partnership with Labelmaster
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(October 26, 2009)--The Arkansas Trucking Association (ATA) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Labelmaster(R) to be its preferred provider of commercial motor vehicle safety and compliance products for the trucking industry. The joint marketing agreement is the first between Labelmaster and a trucking association.
We are impressed with the quality of the products offered by Labelmaster and the company's attitude toward customer service, said Lane Kidd, ATA president.
Labelmaster, headquartered in Chicago, is a provider of placards, truck markings, books, regulatory compliance forms and documents and training materials for the trucking industry.
Under terms of the agreement, the ATA will encourage its member companies to use Labelmaster when purchasing its products and Labelmaster will support the ATA by remitting a performance payment based on the collective sales generated by the association membership.
Labelmaster proposed an agreement with our association that far surpasses any of its competitors and which our member trucking companies are promised competitive prices and a one-stop-shop for the forms, documents, and materials they need, said Kidd. We look forward to building a long-term relationship with Labelmaster.
Labelmaster president, Dwight Curtis adds, We're proud to support the Arkansas Trucking Association. This fine organization is innovative and relentless in its efforts to help its members. Labelmaster looks forward to joining the ATA in this initiative.
Kidd said that the organization's leadership expressed support for this new partnership after the dissolution of an agreement with another industry document supplier and the ATA Board of Directors is expected to ratify the agreement at its meeting this month.
