ATA Seeks Nominations for Mike Russell “Good stuff” Image Award
ARLINGTON, Va. – Today, American Trucking Associations announced it is seeking nominations for the seventh annual Mike Russell “Good stuff” Trucking Image Award.
The award, first handed out in 2006, honors trucking companies, state associations and allied companies who creatively generate positive awareness of the trucking industry. And for the second straight year, the Russell Award is sponsored by TMW Systems Inc.
“It is important to highlight trucking’s role as the backbone of the American economy,” said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. “Our industry is not only essential, but safe and sustainable. We are looking forward to this year’s nominations and recognizing those that promote our image year round.”
Submissions will be evaluated by an impartial panel of judges based on creativity, execution and reach/impact. All submissions must be submitted to the image campaign by Sept. 23. Winners will be announced in October during ATA’s annual Management Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla.
“For the trucking industry, the only constant seems to be change. It’s an honor to celebrate the resilience, ingenuity, creativity and professional pride that people bring to their work in this industry each day,” said David Wangler, President and CEO of TMW Systems.
