Auto logistics leader VASCOR names industry veteran CEO

GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY, 3 SEPTEMBER, 2012 -- VASCOR Ltd., one of the world’s largest automotive logistics providers, has named William Garrett as its new Chief Executive Officer. Garrett succeeds James Dunn, who has retired from the company.

A 25-year automotive and supply chain management professional, Garrett joins the company from DHL Exel, where he served as head of the automotive sales team. His experience includes work with many of the world’s leading automotive companies as well as with UPS Supply Chain and Customized Transportation (now CEVA).

VASCOR is a joint venture of Singapore-based supply chain management leader APL Logistics and FUJITRANS Corporation of Japan.
