Celadon Trucking Selected As Top Workplace in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Celadon Group, Inc. (NYSE:CGI) today announced that it has been named to "The Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces" list of the best places to work in Central Indiana for 2014. Well over 100 companies participated in the program and Celadon earned the 15th position in the large business category for the Top Workplaces Award.

The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from a confidential employee survey covering six areas of the workplace that impact overall workplace satisfaction. Values and strategy, communication, career opportunities, atmosphere, managerial quality and pay and benefits were areas included in the survey.

"Building and maintaining a desirable work environment for associates is something we strive hard to achieve and it's gratifying to hear directly from our employees that we have accomplished our objective," said Paul Will, President and CEO. "I am delighted that Celadon has been named to the list again and we will continue our efforts to become an employer of choice in the Indianapolis area."

Celadon Group currently employs more than 600 people in Central Indiana, including a growing number at the new Celadon Driver Training Center which opened earlier this year near its Indianapolis headquarters. For more information about Celadon, please visit www.celadontrucking.com.
