Waco, Texas – August 3, 2011– Central Freight Lines (CFL), a leading less-than-truckload (LTL) for-hire common carrier, today announced it received the 1st Place Safety Award from the Texas Motor Transportation Association (TMTA). This significant safety award honors thecarrier that has achieved the highest safety standards in the State of Texas.

Each year the TMTA recognizes and honors the industry’s elite for stellar truck safety and maintenance programs. In a repeat performance of the previous year, CFI wasawarded the top honor in the LTL/P&D Division.
