Ceres Terminals Incorporated Appoints John J. Vitolo as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ… Ceres Terminals Incorporated is pleased to announce the appointment of John J. Vitolo as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Vitolo brings close to thirty years finance experience to the Ceres organization.

In his new role as CFO, Mr. Vitolo will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, finance, insurance, risk management and tax planning for Ceres Terminals Incorporated and the Ceres’ U.S. and International Group of Companies.

Mr. Vitolo began his career in the maritime industry in 1982 with U.S. Lines at the Holland Hook Terminal in Staten Island. From the ocean liner side, he gained valuable experience in marine terminal operations at Maher Terminals. Mr. Vitolo joined Hapag- Lloyd America Inc. in 1988 holding varied positions throughout the years from Vice President of Finance to Director Corporate Operations/Finance and Controlling.

In 1997, Mr. Vitolo joined Ceres Terminals Incorporated as Vice President Finance. After leaving Ceres, Mr. Vitolo held executive positions as Vice President/Corporate Controller and CFO for major international manufacturers of specialty chemicals and additives where he also held several Board positions. Mr. Vitolo rejoined the Ceres management finance staff as Vice President Finance in 2006.

Mr. Vitolo is a graduate of St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey. He resides in Central New Jersey with his wife and youngest daughter.
