CEVA Appoints Mate Szombathelyi as Country Manager of Hungary

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced the appointment of Mate Szombathelyi as Country Manager of Hungary.

Mate has eight years experience in the logistics industry and joined CEVA in 2006 as Sales Manager in Hungary. He was then promoted to Regional Sales Manager for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania in 2008. Prior to joining CEVA, Mate worked for DHL Global Forwarding as Sales Executive and Tradelane Manager for North America.

In his new role, Mate is responsible for growing CEVA’s business and operational capability across both Freight Management and Contract Logistics operations in Hungary and reports to Piotr Zborowski, CEVA‘s Senior Vice President, Eastern Europe.

Mate Szombathelyi holds a Master's degree in Economics from University of Pécs, Hungary.
