CEVA to distribute spare parts for Mercedes-Benz and smart in Italy

Milan, Italy, 9 March 2011 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has signed a three-year agreement for the distribution of spare parts for Mercedes-Benz and smart cars throughout the country.

CEVA will be responsible for distributing the parts from the Mercedes-Benz warehouse at Capena, near Rome, by road to any point in Italy with guaranteed delivery by 1pm the next day for VOR (Vehicle Off Road) and urgent deliveries. Every year, CEVA will handle approximately 200,000 cartons: the customer will have constant visibility of the delivery status of each parcel dispatched through CEVA’s advanced Track and Trace system, fully integrated into the Control Tower in Assago (Milan, Italy).
