Frankfurt on Main, February, 2012 - CHAMP Cargosystems and TRAXON Europe want to accelerate the global implementation of eCargo. They are thus taking an active part in the 6th IATA World Cargo Symposium. The aim of the conference is to move the airfreight industry from talk to action to achieve the goals of the IATA eFreight, eCustoms, and Cargo 2000 initiatives. CHAMP Cargosystems’ and TRAXON Europe’s expertise will play an important role in this efficiency drive. The focus will be on “Quality Optimization as the key to eCargo success”. TRAXON Europe’s Managing Director, Felix Keck, will speak on this subject during the eCargo Virtual Track on March 14.

Paperless handling of airfreight has been discussed in the industry for many years. However, progress has been slow ― too slow, according to James Fernandez, Vice President Global Commercial Operations, CHAMP Cargosystems. “CHAMP and TRAXON have developed many innovative applications to enhance data and process quality throughout the transport chain. Our extensive portfolio enables all participants of the air cargo supply chain to accelerate their eCargo ambitions,” says James Fernandez.

Felix Keck added: “We offer a wide range of standard products and customized solutions to enable every type of company, from small regional players to large multinationals, to make the change to paperless airfreight handling“.
