Chemlogix Names Director Of New Brokerage Business Unit

Blue Bell, Penn, July 18, 2012 – ChemLogix LLC (www.chemlogix.com) announces the promotion of John Danielson to the new position of Director, Brokerage Operations of its new Brokerage Business Unit. Reporting to the Vice President of North American Operations, John now has P&L responsibility for the growth and profitability of ChemLogix’ brokerage business. Because of his unique rail knowledge, he will also be responsible for the company’s rail management operations.

“Based on John’s experience and effectiveness in carrier management and transportation operations, we’ve appointed him to run our new Brokerage Business Unit with the goal of growing our business in this area of critical customer need,” notes Steve Hamilton, ChemLogix President and CEO.

With more than two decades of experience in logistics, John has worked with ChemLogix since its inception, first as Direction of Operations and now as the new head of the company’s new Brokerage Business Unit. Previously, he worked as a customer service manager with Chemical Leaman Tank Lines for many years. Having served in the US Army for nearly 20 years, John is now a retired Major in the Infantry.
