East Moline, IL - June 07, 2012: Standard Forwarding, a U.S. less than truckload (LTL) carrier and subsidiary of DHL Freight, was named Great Lakes/Midwest LTL Carrier of the Year for the fourth time in a row in Mastio & Company’s annual Value and Loyalty Benchmarking Study. The in-depth study surveys 2,000 shippers and identifies and quantifies the needs of LTL freight customers while comparing national, regional and local carriers. Standard Forwarding was selected as the winner based upon top scores in 24 service attributes determined to be most important to LTL customers. Standard Forwarding rated best at meeting or exceeding customer needs.

“We take great pride in being named Great Lakes/Midwest Carrier of the Year and receiving the highest net promoter score in the country. It’s particularly gratifying since the results are based on feedback from our customers and exemplify the excellent work the team is doing every day to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations,” said John Ward, President of Standard Forwarding.

Standard Forwarding also received the highest “net promoter” score nationally. Net promoter score measures a customer’s “likelihood to recommend,” an indication of customer satisfaction.

With 40 new tractors in its fleet and the ongoing installation of on-board technology on all its tractors, Standard Forwarding is continuing to invest to provide world-class service to its customers.
