Florida East Coast Railway Names New Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jacksonville, FL – March 5, 2012 – Florida East Coast Railway, L.L.C. (FEC) today announced that Andrew (Andy) Westhoff is joining the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing effective immediately.
Mr. Westhoff has an extensive railroad background and was with CSX Transportation for over 20 years in various finance and commercial roles. His most recent position was Director of Yield Management - Intermodal. Prior to joining CSX, Andy was with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young and he has maintained his CPA license throughout his business career.
“FEC's 2012 initiatives include starting direct rail service to the Port of Miami, breaking ground on our Port Everglades Intermodal Container Transfer Facility, and growing the intermodal and carload business segments. Andy's background will help us achieve success with each of these goals and he will be a great addition to the FEC family,” said James R. Hertwig, President and Chief Executive Officer of FEC.
Mr. Westhoff earned his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of North Florida and his MBA from Jacksonville University. He and his wife, Joanne, reside in Jacksonville and have four grown children.
