Gerry Mundt Promoted to Vice President of Finance

Since joining National Van Lines in November of 2010, Gerry Mundt has been serving as Controller. According to Maureen Beal, CEO, National Van Lines, “In our search for a Controller, we took into consideration Bob Buti’s retirement at the end of 2011. With Gerry’s knowledge and experience, we were fully confident that he would be able to assume the role of Vice President as Bob’s successor.”

Effective September 1st, Bob Buti will act as Sr. Vice President of Finance and will work closely with Gerry in this transition. The Vice President of Finance is responsible for numerous departments, including: MIS, Purchasing, Human Resources, Claims, Billing & Settlement and Credit.

Well versed in the needs of a multi-faceted organization, Gerry states, “My goal is a seamless transition. I am already thoroughly impressed with the efficiency and productivity of the finance team and look forward to working with them for years to come.”

Bob Buti states, “Gerry has already proven to be a team player, and his experience in accounting and financial analysis is a welcome addition to our core strengths. He will play an important role in the future of National Van Lines.”
