Google, LinkedIn and Adobe to Focus on Revenue Generation at TMSA Conference
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J. — The Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA), a leading resource for professional development, networking, business intelligence and best practices for professionals in the transportation and logistics industry, will hold its Annual Conference June 9-11, 2013 at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Speakers from Google, LinkedIn and Adobe will address transportation and logistics professionals focused on the execution of sales and marketing in their field.
This year’s theme will be “Marketing and Sales: Tools, Techniques and Tactics for Revenue Generation.” Attendees will gain insights into the industry-specific methodology that drives revenue growth and improves brand recognition. TMSA will hold a number of educational sessions presented by notable individuals of leading companies including:
- A C-Level Executive panel focused on what it takes to get their approval for marketing and sales budgets and initiatives.
- “How to Make the Web Work for Transportation and Logistics Marketers,” presented by Google will cove digital trends and their impact on transportation and logistics B2B marketing strategies.
- “Marketing in the New Media Landscape” presented by LinkedIn will discuss how to leverage LinkedIn to improve personal and company brands.
- “The Advantage of Data Driven Marketing,” presented by Adobe will reveal how companies can use data driven marketing to improve their competitive edge in the marketplace.
The conference will also provide two breakout tracks—one for marketing/communications and the other for sales professionals, covering topics such as mobile marketing and designing compensation plans.
“As the industry continues to face rapid developments and changes each year, it is important to design a conference theme and schedule aimed at addressing the immediate needs of our attendees,” said President of TMSA, David Hoppens. “Focusing this year’s conference on revenue generation, our goal is to provide ideas and information that our attendees will be able to take back to their organization and put into action immediately after the conference.”
As a major change from past TMSA conferences, this year’s 61st Annual Compass Awards Gala will be the opening event of the conference on June 9, allowing TMSA to showcase all Compass Award winners throughout the conference.
“The Compass Awards are industry recognized awards that honor individual companies in the transportation and logistics industry,” said Hoppens. “We look forward to seeing the entries and winners each year, as they set the standards for best practices for sales, marketing and communications practitioners in the transportation and logistics industry.”
