As the GPMH wishes to provide top-quality service suited to its customers’ requirements and expectations, while giving a dynamic impulse to its marketing development, it has just opened an office in Paris dedicated to the relations with “key accounts”.

An ambition: promoting transport-logistics solutions via Le Havre

The opening of the GPMH Paris office is in line with the new start boosted by the implementation of the port reform in Le Havre: developing port business by placing customers’ satisfaction in the core of the organisation.

As Hervé Cornède, GPMH Commercial and Marketing Director, said: «we have to carry on the drive initiated to emphasise and develop the transport-logistics solutions via Le Havre in partnership with the companies of the sector: shippers, freight forwarders and logisticians. »

Closer to the clients, for top-quality service

Based in the premises of the port of Paris, the « key accounts » marketing team is going to take care and canvass key accounts, provide listening, reactivity and service to companies in order to facilitate their logistics-distribution scheme by proposing solutions via Le Havre. It is also going to promote multimodal solutions by relying on the GPMH dedicated teams both in the field of logistics and in that of rail and waterway.

With the coming-on-stream of this structure, the port of Le Havre – recently elected « Best seaport in Europe 2011 » by the readers of Cargonews Asia, the leader of the Asian professional press – clearly demonstrates its ambition as a Western Europe’s major seaport and strengthens its position as the maritime gateway to Greater Paris.
