Gregory R. Hodgen Elected New Chairman of NTTC

ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Tank Truck Carriers, Inc. (NTTC) announced that Gregory R. Hodgen has been elected as the organization’s new chairman at the NTTC’s recent annual meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Hodgen succeeds Steven J. Rush, CEO of New Jersey-based Carbon Express, Inc. who now serves as Chairman of the NTTC’s executive committee.

Greg Hodgen is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Groendyke Transport, Inc. (www.groendyke.com), one of the largest tank truck carriers in the nation with over 75 years of expertise in bulk transportation services. Prior to being named President and COO of Groendyke, Hodgen served the company as its Executive Vice President and its Vice President of Operations prior to that. He has considerable board experience having served as a director of several community organizations in Oklahoma including the Young Presidents Organization, the Grand National Quail Club, Leadership Oklahoma, the Autry Technology Center Foundation, and the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the selection committee of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. Chairman Hodgen is a graduate of Colorado State University where he earned his B.S. in Animal Science.

For over 65 years, National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) has represented the tank truck industry before Congress and various Federal agencies, including the Department of Transportation, the Department of Homeland Security, the Environmental Protection Agency, and OSHA. NTTC provides its members with information on legislative, regulatory, and operational developments that affect their businesses. The Association also serves as an industry spokesman and resource to carriers, shippers, regulators, the news media, financial community, and the general public.
