Grupo Modelo Selects GT Nexus to Provide Global Logistics Operating Platform

Oakland, CA and Mexico City, Mexico – May 11, 2010 – GT Nexus today announced that it has been selected by Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V. to provide an operating platform for global logistics management and control. Delivered as a Web service, the platform will integrate to internal Grupo Modelo software systems and provide shipment visibility, documentation standardization and transaction automation between Grupo Modelo and its network of logistics partners and customers worldwide.

Grupo Modelo is the leader in Mexico in beer production, distribution and marketing. Currently, it brews and distributes 13 brands, including Corona Extra, the number one Mexican beer sold in the world, Modelo Especial, Victoria, Pacífico and Negra Modelo. It exports five brands and is present in 160 countries.
