Hanjin Logistics Inc. (HJL), a logistics arm of Hanjin Shipping Group, the largest Korean logistics group, has opened offices in the three nations: Tokyo Japan, Xiamen China, and Amsterdam Netherlands on purpose of network enhancement strategy.
Hanjin Logistics Japan has started its business & operation from 25th of February with neighboring HJL’s offices, Hanjin Logistics Korea (HJLK), Hanjin Logistics Shanghai and Shenzhen to build strong market presence in Far East countries and maximize its network sales power.
In addition, the Xiamen office has been formed through Joint Venture with the local 3PL company Honesty, to meet the local requirement and international demands with both companies’ long experience in the industry. The office has been named H&H International Logistics (Fujian) CO., Ltd. Hanjin and Honesty.
Unlike the offices above, the Amsterdam office is specially organized for air business. The office has been set up in the area of Schiphol Airport, a main hub in Europe where more than 90 carriers operate, for better and smoother air cargo handling operation.
HJL opened 3 offices in Nanjing, Chongqing and Casablanca last year and has been aggressively expanding its network: more than 10 offices in the past 3 years.
