HOIST LIFTRUCK IS GOING GREEN

Hoist Liftruck will be hosting a press conference Monday, April 3 during the Promat Show. While there, Hoist executives will speak to the newly-released T-Series terminal tractor, as well as their plans to add a little bit of “green” to Hoist Liftruck’s yellow lift trucks.

Already firmly established in the high-capacity forklift manufacturing industry, Hoist plans to start building the T-Series terminal tractors in the second quarter of 2017. Designed to move semi-trailers within cargo yards, distribution centers, warehouse facilities, and intermodal facilities, the T-Series will further expand sales and establish Hoist in new industries. Many of the components of the T-Series will be supplied by existing Hoist vendors such as Cummins and AxleTech. Other components will be sourced from reputable Indiana manufacturers such as Allison and Hendrickson, further supporting the local economy.

Hoist Liftruck’s roots in the electric-powered high-capacity forklift industry run deep, with the company planning to continue expanding their electric-powered forklift and terminal tractor offerings. For over 120 years, Elwell-Parker, and now, Hoist Liftruck, have manufactured electric-powered material handling vehicles for customers everywhere, positioning themselves as the #1 OEM of large capacity (15,000 lbs. and above) electric forklifts in the world. In the last year, Hoist Liftruck saw its best numbers yet with large, electric-powered forklifts and was #1 industry-wide in its category, so expanding electric offerings was the next logical step for the business.

Traditionally, Hoist Liftruck customers have only been offered one electric lift truck option, the Lazer Series. No longer limited to cushion tire offerings only, starting Monday, Hoist’s Neptune Series Marina Trucks, P-Series Heavy-Duty tift trucks and T-Series terminal tractors will all be offered in electric versions as well for customers interested in zero emissions products.

Hoist Liftruck’s press conference will take place Monday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m. in room N427BC of McCormick Place.
