Holland Receives Eastman 2011 Supplier Excellence Award
HOLLAND, Mich., June 5, 2012 -- /PRNewswire/ -- (NASDAQ: YRCW) -- Eastman Chemical Company has awarded Holland its 2011 Supplier Excellence Award, an element of its Eastman Supplier Excellence Program (ESEP). This marks the sixth consecutive year that Holland has received this award.
In order to determine award recipients, Eastman evaluates its transportation service providers along a number of criteria, including but not limited to: on-time percentages, claims ratios, safety/security incidents and nonconformance, and customer complaints. Holland's collective score was 93.38%, with a score of 98.16% in the on-time delivery category.
Holland earned this award with on-time, safe, compliant, and claim-free excellent next-day shipping. They are a most-valued supplier, said John Huff, manager of Truckload, LTL and Drayage Procurement at Eastman Chemical Company. This designation signifies consistent performance from Holland and solid work on Eastman's behalf to improve our efficiency and competitiveness in today's challenging market.
