IICL's Newark, New Jersey Dry Van and Chassis Courses
Washington, DC — The Institute of International Container Lessors will hold its next inspection and repair courses of 2011 in Newark, New Jersey in late April. The Dry Van course will be on 27 April and the Chassis course will take place on 28 April. Course registration rates are $400 for the dry van and $375 for the Chassis.

The IICL chassis inspection course has incorporated a discussion regarding the recently introduced Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) roadability regulations. This includes a review of FMCSA Intermodal Equipment Providers (IEP) responsibilities as well as inspection requirements for drivers and terminals. This review will be incorporated into the course curriculum and how it relates to IICL inspection and repair criteria.
IICL has previously hosted the Refrigerated Container Inspection and Repair courses in Shanghai, China during in mid February. The Dry Van and Chassis Inspection and Repair courses were held in the beginning of March in Miami, Florida, followed by the same a week later in the Bahamas.
