Longistics Hires Lou Tapper As Vice President Of Global Business Development
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Longistics, a full-service provider of global logistics solutions, has announced that Lou Tapper will serve as the company’s vice president of global business development. In this role, Tapper will create, implement and manage the global marketing and sales strategy for Longistics as the company continues to expand into emerging markets around the world. He will also manage the marketing sales operations for Longistics.
Tapper brings 18 years of experience in transportation and logistics sales to Longistics. Prior to joining Longistics, he served as the district sales manager at FedEx Services for ten years.
There he was responsible for 10 direct reports and more than $120 million in revenue. He was a member of the FedEx Division Leadership Team and served as DSM Mentor for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
