Mitsui Rail Capital names Penovich as VP of sales and marketing

Chicago, IL, November 1, 2010 – Mitsui Rail Capital, LLC (MRC) announced that it has selected Daniel P. Penovich as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective November 1, 2010. Penovich fills an important vacancy on the MRC management team.

Penovich has thirty years experience leading commercial teams in the railcar industry. He has established relationships with many of Mitsui Rail Capital’s valued partners, and most recently served as Vice President/Executive Director at GATX . While working for GATX, Penovich focused his efforts on leading sales activities and business development. Previously, he held sales positions at Union Tank Car Company and North American Car Company.

Penovich and his wife Cindy reside in Naperville where they have lived since 1981. They have two children; Laura, 23 and Mark, 18. Dan's hobbies include golf, collector car trading and travel. He also enjoys watching and attending professional and college sporting events. His favorites are Indiana and Northwestern as well as all of Chicago's professional sports teams.
