MK Wong, OOCL’s Director of Reefer Trade, is a keynote speaker at The Journal of Commerce Conferences’ first Cool Cargoes Conference, May 12–13 in Oregon

NEWARK, NJ (March 16, 2009) — M.K. Wong, Director of Reefer Trade for Orient Overseas Container Line, will deliver the opening keynote address at The Journal of Commerce Conferences’ inaugural Cool Cargoes Conference May 12-13, 2009, at The Nines Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

The overall theme of the conference is “Linking Up the Cold Chain.” The Pacific Northwest’s Port of Portland, a fast-growing port for refrigerated and frozen cargo, is the conference host. Wong’s speech, titled “Opportunities in Emerging Markets during a Global Slowdown,” takes place at 9 a.m. on May 12th.
