Singapore, August 7, 2012 –MNX, a premium global provider of expedited transportation and logistics services, is pleased to announce the appointment of its regional leadership team in Asia Pacific. Florence Lee, director, sales and customer service, Asia Pacific; Peter Morley, director, operations, Asia Pacific; and Bodhisatwa Ghosh, director, finance and administration, Asia Pacific; comprise the new team responsible for building MNX’s operations in Asia. Under the leadership of Onno Boots, managing director, Asia Pacific, the leadership team solidifies MNX’s specialized capabilities in the life science, aviation and entertainment sectors in Asia Pacific.

“We are thrilled to add three of the highest-caliber industry players to the MNX family in Asia Pacific. As the life science, media and aviation industries begin to boom in the region, we will continue evolving to meet the needs of our customers by offering complex and innovative supply chain solutions,” said Scott Cannon, MNX CEO. “MNX plans to quadruple its investments in Asia over the next three to five years and this leadership team is a vital part of that investment. Florence, Peter and Ghosh represent the right mix of talent and experience needed to further customize our global expertise and specialized services for the Asian market – a region critical to our customers and ripe with opportunity.”

In addition to Singapore, MNX has plans to rapidly expand operations across the region, moving to a wholly owned operating structure. Dedicated to providing service throughout the entire region, MNX currently has operations in Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia and Vietnam. Offices in Japan and India are planned to open by the end of 2012.

“Under the direction of the new regional leadership team, Asia is expected to represent 30 to 40 percent of MNX’s revenues within the next five years as expedited logistics become increasingly relied upon in the region,” said Boots, noting that today MNX generates less than five percent of its revenue in Asia. “Florence’s expertise in the region, and specifically the life science sector, combined with Peter’s industry and institutional knowledge and Ghosh’s management of critical client account functions, better position MNX to tap the rapidly growing clinical trials market and become the leading service provider of clinical trial logistics in Asia.”

Lee joins MNX with more than 10 years of experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, primarily in the healthcare field. In her role as director, sales and customer service, Asia Pacifc, Lee will be responsible for nurturing existing clients and building new customer relationships in an effort to increase MNX’s revenues in Asia.

Prior to joining MNX, Lee was most recently DHL’s regional customer manager for the life science, engineering and manufacturing sectors in Asia Pacific. Lee previously held positions at World Courier and TNT Express Worldwide, where she pioneered the development of new logistics services targeted at potential growth sectors. With a proven track record in global customer account management, Lee has established a reputation for building strong partnership programs for key customers in the Asia Pacific region. Lee will apply this relationship building expertise to drive accelerated growth in each of the industries MNX will focus on expanding in the region.

Peter Morley joins the Singapore team as director, operations, Asia Pacific. Morley began his career at MNX in 2009 when he was brought on to develop a regional service partner network in Asia Pacific and to establish the company’s first life science control office in the region. With more than 35 years of experience in international and domestic courier express and freight, Morley most recently served as general manager for Blue Circle Biomedical Logistics. While there, he launched the biomedical logistics specialty division and was responsible for developing specialty services for pharmaceutical companies, central laboratories, hospitals and research institutes. Morley’s industry expertise and institutional knowledge of the MNX network will allow him to drive the seamless integration of new services and operational best practices into the company’s Asia Pacific business.

Bodhisatwa Ghosh will assume the role of director, finance and administration, Asia Pacific. Ghosh joins MNX from TNT where he was responsible for financial reporting across the Asia Pacific Region. Ghosh will apply his experience in reporting processes, cost management and price positioning to implement financial processes that will help guide MNX as it works to expand its revenue base in the region.

Following Boots’ appointment in April, this announcement comes as one in a series of MNX business moves that ladder up to a strategic global growth plan to leverage the expertise it has developed in aviation, life science and entertainment logistics in the United States to become a provider of choice in Asia. The new team will be based in Singapore, the central hub for MNX’s expansion plans throughout the entire region.
