I.con: The Industrial Real Estate Conference, held in partnership with NAIOP New Jersey and The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), will bring together industrial commercial real estate leaders from across North America to focus on the most current trends, data and business strategies impacting the industrial sector.
Some of the vital industrial issues that will be explored at I.con include:
- Regional, national, and global goods movement forecasts and challenges
- Industrial real estate investment
- Current and future industrial real estate demand drivers
- The economy’s impact on consumer demand and industrial real estate
- The state of our national transportation and infrastructure systems
- Accessing capital in today’s unsettled market
- Supply chain strategies
“As global markets slowly recover, it is imperative that we consider how increasing demand for consumer goods will affect the logistics supply chain, the demand for industrial development and trends in current and future facilities.” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, president and CEO of NAIOP. “This conference provides the platform for industrial commercial real estate leaders to discuss these issues on a national level.”
In an exclusive conference presentation – Art of the Deal – “Shark Tank” – attendees will watch as two developers/operators pitch their own development/acquisition opportunities to the institutional equity “sharks.” Representatives from Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan will listen as the developers pitch their deals.
The event will also include two unique industry tours in New Jersey. Attendees will have a choice of seeing the Ports of New York and New Jersey or New York’s high security DRT Data Center.
