New General Director for DHL Supply Chain Argentina
BUENOS AIRES, July 28, 2011: DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in logistics and sister company to Exel, today announced the appointment of Agustín Croche to general director of DHL Supply Chain Argentina. Croche joined the DHL group in 1997. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in operations, business development and account management. Mostly recently, he was senior director of the pharmaceutical sector in Brazil. In Brazil, he played a leading role in establishing DHL Supply Chain Brazil as a leader in the field and creating a solid platform for growth and development.
Croche is an industrial engineer and has a master’s degree in senior management. Before he came to DHL, he worked in the automotive industry from 1994 to 2006. His broad expertise will help DHL Supply Chain Argentina bring supply chain best practices and solutions to new industries targeted in the company’s strategic growth plan. In his new role, Croche will report directly to senior vice president Jeffrey Burrow in Brazil.

DHL Supply Chain began operations in Argentina in 2007 and currently has nine distribution centers throughout the country. The company employs 730 people in Argentina and provides storage and transportation services to 14 companies in the retail, automotive, technology and industrial sectors. It is part of Deutsche Post DHL’s SUPPLY CHAIN division, and provides warehousing, supply and distribution services and value-added solutions throughout the supply chain.
DHL Supply Chain Argentina shares several customers in the high tech and retail sectors with DHL Global Forwarding, its sister division within Deutsche Post DHL. DHL Global Forwarding employs more than 246 people in Argentina and has operated in the country since 1969.
