Norbert Dentressangle Strengthens Freight Forwarding Business

Norbert Dentressangle has opened offices in Chile and Brazil as part of the continued development of its freight forwarding business.

The new operations, in Santiago and Sao Paulo strengthen the company’s global presence, in line with its mid-term objective to reach €250 million turnover.

Following the acquisition and successful integration of Schneider International in 2010 and TDG in 2011, Norbert Dentressangle’s freight forwarding business now employs 250 colleagues in 30 offices, in 11 countries on three continents.

Norbert Dentressangle’s acquisition of APC Beijing is expected to be completed in the near future, adding a further 250 colleagues and 16 branches throughout China.

Guillaume Col, Managing Director, Norbert Dentressangle Overseas said: “Our freight forwarding business is developing at a brisk and well-controlled pace and has reached critical mass just 18 months after it was launched.

“The new offices give us a foothold in Latin America and strengthen our position on the Americas-Europe-Asia axis.”

Established in 2010, Norbert Dentresangle’s freight forwarding business offers worldwide air freight, sea freight and customs management services, with the ability to offer ‘door-to-door’ transport and logistics solutions throughout Europe.

The company is a fully licensed customs broker with AEO accreditation and is a member of BIFA, FIATA and IATA.
