OAG Cargo Expands Sales Team In The Americas
OAG Cargo has announced two senior additions to its sales organisation as it continues to build the presence of its business-critical decision-making tools for the air cargo industry in North, South and Central America and the Caribbean.
Teresita (Teri) McConney has joined OAG from Continental Airlines Cargo in the role of Regional Sales Manager, South America, based in Miami. She began her career in the air cargo industry in 1975 with AeroCondor Airlines in Miami and later joined another Colombian carrier, ARCA Aerovias Colombianas, holding the post of Assistant Cargo Manager. She joined a freight forwarding organisation as Vice President of Intercontinental Cargo – specialising with key accounts in Latin America - ahead of joining Continental in 1990. Teresita spent the next 20-plus years with the airline in the roles of District Sales and Senior Sales Manager, focusing on the Latin America and Caribbean regions.
Ed Kerwin has joined OAG Cargo, based in Rhode Island, as Regional Sales Manager, North America. A freight veteran with over 30 years experience, he began his career with British Airways World Cargo and held various positions in operations, sales and marketing including Director of Customer Services for the Americas. He later became Manager of Industry Solutions for SITA and also worked for Geologistics and FourSoft.
Stephen Baggett, OAG Cargo’s Director Sales, Americas, said: The addition of Ed and Teri to our sales team will enable OAG Cargo to build stronger and closer ties with carriers and forwarders in the region’s major markets, which is key to our strategy for growth. Their knowledge and experience of the cargo industry within North and South America will be instrumental in strengthening our customer relationships. As the South American region gains strategic global importance in the air cargo sector it is essential for OAG Cargo to gain a strong foothold in this expanding region.”
OAG Cargo’s portfolio includes solutions for airfreight rates management and distribution, cargo schedules, operational announcements, and dangerous goods.
