Old Dominion Named to Forbes Magazine's 'Best Employers 2015' List

THOMASVILLE, N.C. (May 11, 2015)— Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has been named to Forbes magazine's "Best Employers 2015" list.

The 500 employers on Forbes' list were chosen based on an independent survey of 20,000 American employees working for large U.S. companies and institutions, and U.S. divisions of international firms, according to the magazine.

"We are always honored to receive recognition, but particularly so when our employees say Old Dominion, for them, is among the best employers in our country," said David Congdon, Old Dominion's President and CEO.

Employees were asked anonymously through several online panels if they’d recommend their employer, or any other employers in their industry, to a potential employee, Forbes said.
