Omnitek Engineering Appoints Diesel-to-Natural Gas Conversion Dealer and Installer for New York Region
SAN MARCOS, Calif., Sept. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB:OMTK) today announced the appointment of CNG One Source of New York, Inc, based in Clarence, New York, as a dealer and authorized installer of its diesel-to-natural gas conversion kits in the state. Terms were not disclosed.
The addition of CNG One Source of New York to our growing network of domestic conversion centers provides a solid platform for growth in a region with significant supplies of natural gas, said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.
The company expects to announce similar conversion center partners throughout the country during the next few months in anticipation of receiving Environmental Protection Agency certification for its diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion kits for the domestic market for certain heavy-duty truck engines, including the Navistar DT466.
