Panalpina appoints Chris Kent new Global Head of Panprojects

Chris Kent has been appointed as the new Global Head of Panprojects, a wholly-owned Panalpina subsidiary. He joined Panalpina in 2002 and has successfully managed Panprojects UK as Divisional Director. Panprojects is part of the worldwide logistics and transportation network of the Panalpina Group. Chris Kent, 54, a British citizen, succeeds Heinz Zech who decided to pursue new professional challenges outside of the Panalpina Group. Panprojects is a world leader in the international industrial project business with around 300 specialists at 37 strategic locations around the world. Chris Kent has a proven track record in global project forwarding and is an industry-wide well known and highly respected expert. In his function as Divisional Director Panprojects UK and Head of Panprojects Northwest Europe, he was a member of the Global Panprojects Management and Steering Committee. Before joining Panalpina in 2002, he held several high-ranking management positions, among them in the UK, Middle East and the USA.
