On 20 January 2011, the Grand Port Maritime du Havre (GPMH) and SOGET SA co-hosted a presentation of EASYPORT (a global port information system and solution) for the ports on the Channel-Atlantic seaboard.

EASYPORT: co-produced by GPMH and SOGET S.A.
Based on the experience and expertise of the Le Havre port community, EASYPORT includes 7 port data processing applications for the simple, speedy management and monitoring of goods in transit through a port. The EASYPORT tools meet all the currently applicable regulatory requirements, and are now used by more than a thousand companies in France and abroad.

EASYPORT: first users unanimously satisfied
Daniel Lecot, Secretary-General of the SOGENA-SOFRINO Group (which specialises in liquid bulk, timber and refrigerated goods), stressed that EASYPORT makes it easier for our teams to track in real time the different phases involved in processing goods, and therefore makes a significant contribution to accelerating the flow of goods. I am convinced that EASYPORT introduces greater professionalism into each of our business lines.

For Medhi Arrahmane, Dangerous Goods Coordinator at MSC (2nd largest global carrier in the container slot), the applications in the EASYPORT pack interface with each other and with our own systems, allowing us to quickly collect all the information about our goods.

Jean-Pierre Blaschka, Head of the Customs Department for the Paris North Normandy Region of SDV (the logistics company of the Bolloré Group) explains that owing to EASYPORT, we have a system for supervising goods based on the automatic output of information on the routing of goods which is replicated in our systems, as well as in those of our customers.
