Port Newark Container Terminal Open Saturday
Port Newark Container Terminal has just advised us that they will be open Saturday, October 24, from 7 am to 4 pm. Ports America's President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen Edwards has asked that we share the attached communication with you. He recognizes there were service issues at PNCT this week and will be reimbursing trucking companies for delays.
We would also like to let you know that the terminal has extended its gate hours on weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm. Please take full advantage of this. Truckers are asked to use Marsh Street to access the Export Street Empty Gate and the Marsh Street Empty Depot. Please use Tyler Street to access PNCT's main gate. We appreciate if your drivers can keep driveways and intersections in the port clear, minimizing impact to our other businesses.
