ProcessWeaver® Launches xCarrier® Mobile Enterprise Application for Multi-Carrier Shipping

ProcessWeaver® Inc., a recognized leader in providing Transportation Management Solutions, launched xCarrier® Mobile for automating multi-carrier shipping processes for global customers. xCarrier® Mobile will combine real time multi-carrier communication with seamless integration to customers’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in order to significantly improve efficiencies both within the warehouse as well as remote field operations.

“xCarrier® Mobile is platform-agnostic, in that it can work on any device running any operating system, be it iOS, Android or Windows,” stated Kiran Swaroop, Director of Business Development at ProcessWeaver. “This product has been developed in a collaborative fashion with strong hardware partners who have been critical in building applications as bundled services for the mobile platform,” he added.

ProcessWeaver introduced xCarrier® Mobile as a proof-of-concept version to a select few customers during the Transportation & Warehouse Logistics (TWL) Summit in July 2012. The response from companies – including aerospace, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and automotive – that attended the event was very positive from a functional and ease of use stand point.

xCarrier® Mobile will be able to address a wide range of enterprise applications from warehouse shipping automation to mobile fleet management to retail POS with tight integration to the back-end ERP systems as well as carriers. ProcessWeaver will be showcasing this bundled service at the SAP Sapphire 2012 event in Madrid as well as ProMat 2013 in Chicago, IL.
