Ralph Henderson Named Executive Director of National Logistics & Distribution Conference
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2013
Peach State Integrated Technologies, Inc., producer of the National Logistics & Distribution Conference (NLDC), announces the appointment of Ralph Henderson as NLDC executive director. Henderson is replacing Ron Dahlin, who has served in the position since 2010 and is leaving to start a ministry.
“NLDC has become one of the premier executive educational forums in the supply chain industry. I am excited and honored to be leading it into the future,” states Henderson. “Our industry continues to be in a very challenging and demanding time of change. Peach State is an organization that I have always admired for meeting the challenges of their supply chain and logistics customers with professional integrity and service excellence. I will work hard to maintain that integrity and service reputation while we expand the awareness of Peach State as a solutions provider with exceptional capabilities.”
In addition to the appointment as NLDC executive director, Henderson has been named senior director of Market and Business Development at Peach State. He will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of marketing initiatives, and management of the marketing and business development departments.
"Ralph’s conference and event planning experience will allow us to seamlessly move forward with preparing for the 10th annual NLDC with the quality standards we've established, while his extensive supply chain sales, marketing and business development experience will advance our ongoing initiatives to serve and grow our quality client base," said Jim Bowes, Peach State's CEO.
After 16 years with Peach State, Dahlin will be stepping down from his roles as vice president of Corporate Development and NLDC executive director to pioneer a new ministry, Journey 2445, with his wife, Jo Anne.
“We’ve always known that the Lord was preparing us for this next step. We’ve been blessed over the years to guide many people in growing their relationship with God through extensive group and individual Bible study,” shares Dahlin. “For decades our ministry has been a part-time passion. With our founding of Journey 2445, it has become our lifestyle. We’re thrilled that God’s plan for us to serve Him full time has arrived.”
“I believe that God puts certain people in your life. Ron and Jo Anne have been dear friends to many of us at Peach State,” remarks Bowes. “While they will be missed, their presence will always be felt for their part in developing the moral compass and values system that leads our company’s culture.”
The 2014 National Logistics & Distribution Conference is scheduled for April 14-16 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
