Prior to joining TBB Global Logistics, McGuire served as the Director of Global Trade Compliance and Operations for Celanese International Corporation in Dallas, Texas. There, he created a 28-person import / export trade compliance team with associates world-wide; overseeing Customs and other governmental trade compliance such as drug precursor controls, dual-use technology licensing, and preferential trade agreements in Asia, Europe and the Americas, and implemented company-wide support systems. Earlier in his career, McGuire was an independent logistics strategy consultant after serving in leadership roles for numerous “shippers” such as Kellwood New England, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Sharper Image and Jefferson Smurfit Corporation (now Smurfit-Stone), as well as international logistics management providers including Panalpina, V.
