Ryder Opens New Service Facility and Used Vehicle Sales Center in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA - Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial transportation and supply chain management solutions, announced the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art service facility and used commercial vehicle sales center at 5865 Fulton Industrial Blvd in Atlanta.
The 24,000-square-foot service facility will immediately begin providing maintenance to a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, including light-duty and heavy-duty straight trucks, tractors, and trailers from Ryder's existing contractual and rental customers in the area. Located on eighteen acres on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, with easy on and off access from main thoroughfares such as I-20 and I-285, the facility will feature six-and-a-half service bays, a three-lane fuel island, a fully automated truck wash bay, and the capability to support EPA 2010 engines with maintenance and diesel exhaust fluid. The facility will provide maintenance to Ryder's lease, rental, and contract maintenance customers and will provide commercial truck rental services.
Adjacent to the new service shop, Ryder has also opened a new used vehicle sales center where customers will be able to select from an inventory of more than 250 commercial trucks and vehicles for purchase. This 2,100-square-foot sales center replaces Ryder's retail location on Moreland Avenue.

Ryder's Full Service Lease offering is a customized transportation solution that provides customers with commercial vehicles for lease and a variety of support services, including emergency roadside assistance, preventive maintenance services, fueling, equipment evaluations and specification, fleet management reporting tools, administrative support, and driver safety programs. Ryder's Commercial Rental product line provides customers with rental trucks on a short-term basis to meet their needs for supplemental capacity, and Ryder's Contract Maintenance product line provides maintenance to both Ryder's full service lease customers as well as other customers who wish to use Ryder's extensive network of facilities and technicians to maintain their trucks.
