CHARLOTTE, NC – April 20, 2009 – SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions announced its new, nationwide onsite printer service program, SATO ENSURE, providing SATO-trained technicians directly to customers throughout the U.S. and Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver areas).
Next Business Day (within 24 hours) and Standard Service (within 24-48 hours) will be offered for both new and existing printers to minimize downtime and ensure only SATO-trained and -certified technicians are dispatched using only genuine SATO parts.
SATO’s onsite service plans will enable SATO customers to conveniently budget, better maintain their production efficiency, and extend the life of their SATO printers without pulling them from production.

SATO’s onsite service plans include unlimited repairs, travel time, and all parts and labor (excluding print heads). To help ensure that customers don’t experience unexpected downtime and to help identify problems before they happen, the SATO service plans also include two free preventative maintenance checkups per unit, per year, scheduled at your convenience.
