Southeastern Freight Lines Promotes Kathryn Britt to Director of Human Resources

LEXINGTON, S.C. — Southeastern Freight Lines, a leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced that Kathryn Britt has advanced from managing attorney into the position of director of human resources.

In addition to her new director responsibilities in this position, Britt will maintain her human resources responsibilities by serving as the point of contact for fleet services, the support center and western billing.

“Britt is a proven leader with an impressive blend of managing and operating experience,” said Richard Bogan, senior vice president at Southeastern Freight Lines. “She is ideally suited to lead the Department of Human Resources here at Southeastern Freight Lines and we are proud to extend this opportunity to her.”

Britt is a double graduate from the University of South Carolina, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science followed by a degree in law. She is an active member of the Columbia and Lexington communities and is a member of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church where she teaches fourth grade Sunday school. Britt resides in Columbia, S.C. with her husband and three children.
