Steve Katz Joins Blue Tree Systems
Roanoke, Virginia – September 19, 2011– Blue Tree Systems, Inc. a provider of trailer tracking, reefer monitoring and fleet management solutions, today announced that Steve Katz has joined Blue Tree’s North American division as Director of Sales, US Markets. Katz brings nearly 30 years of wireless technology sales experience with him to Blue Tree, 15 of those years in the trucking industry.

Katz began his career in trucking technology in 1996 with one of the industry’s pioneering wireless companies, American Mobile Satellite Corporation. He later served in a variety of top-level sales positions with Cadec Global, Comtech and Air-Weigh Systems. He is active in several trade organizations, earning the Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation from the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) and serving as an NPTC Safety Committee member and on the Board of Directors for the NPTC Institute.
