The South Florida CSCMP Roundtable Presents:
January 28th, 2010
Lunch Meeting 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Florida International University, Miami
ISF 10+2 Reality Sinks In... What's Next?
A must attend for all importers!
January 28, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM
At the Ocean Bank Auditorium, College of Business Complex (CBC) on the FIU Campus in Miami, Florida
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Importer Security Filing rule, effective as of January 26, 2009, requires that U.S. importers file 10+ data elements for all ocean import shipments electronically with CBP 24 hours prior to departure from the foreign port. This has dramatically impacted all U.S. importers and how they must conduct business in the future. As of January 26, 2010 CBP will enforce this requirement with $5,000 penalties for non-compliance! Are you ready? If yes, are you efficient? How will you improve on ISF in 2010?
Please join the South Florida CSCMP Roundtable for an interactive and educational expert panel discussion and networking luncheon to learn more about the latest experiences, best practices and 2010 challenges for the CBP Importer Security Filing (ISF - a/k/a 10+2) requirement and its impact following the January 26th, 2010 CBP enforcement deadline.
Our great panel of presenters, moderated by an industry expert and consultant to the trade, will include following representatives from major South Florida Importers:

-- What every importer needs to do in 2010 to remain competitive and further adapt
We will have plenty of time for questions from the audience to interact directly with our esteemed panel and we are excited to bring this very timely topic to you. The Ocean Bank Auditorium should provide the perfect setting for a great interactive experience and we look forward to your participation.
