Thomas Hickey Joins Sales Team at MIQ Logistics
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 22, 2011 – MIQ Logistics, formerly YRC Logistics, is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas Hickey to its Sales team as business development director. Hickey will head up new business efforts in the greater New York City Tri-state market.

Hickey’s career in transportation and logistics spans more than 25 years. He held senior leadership positions serving the supply chain management needs of the fashion retail industry. He also led an international logistics services sales organization, responsible for profit and loss in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Hickey received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Monmouth College. He published two articles on transportation and globalization in leading industry journals: “With Deconsolidation You can Ship When the Latest Demands Are Clear” and “Fashion Thinks Global: the Pat Riley Effect.”
