TNT names Galvin managing director, Thailand

Bangkok — 10 July 2015 TNT, the leading domestic and international provider of integrated express services, has appointed Gina Galvin as managing director of TNT Express Worldwide (Thailand).

Ms. Galvin brings to the company extensive and well-proven business management experience, particularly in the express and air transportation businesses, and with her appointment becomes the first female managing director of TNT Thailand. Her vision and outstanding capabilities enable her to strengthen the growth of TNT’s market position in Thailand; moreover, she plans to drive Thailand to become the regional logistics hub of ASEAN through TNT’s Asia Road Network. Apart from her considerable experience in transportation, her attention to detail and leadership qualities make her an inspired addition to management team of TNT Thailand.

Prior to this appointment, Gina was the managing director of TNT Express Worldwide (Philippines).

Born and educated in Ireland, she draws upon 20-plus years of work experience within the TNT Express global business. She has an outstanding track record in successfully developing, planning and implementing strategy, managing results, building and motivating highly effective teams and introducing fresh, innovative ideas. Her roles in the U.K., Ireland, Singapore, Philippines and Thailand give her broad experience across the entire logistics business framework, which is key to delivering on productivity goals and to enhancing services according to TNT’s evolving vision for “The People Network.”
