Transplace Selected by Chemical Manufacturer Orion Engineered Carbons for Domestic Transportation Management
February 21, 2012 (Dallas, TX) – Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology, today announced that Orion Engineered Carbons LLC has selected the third party logistics (3PL) provider to handle all domestic transportation management activities. The Carbon Black manufacturer will leverage Transplace’s comprehensive logistics services and technology to achieve transportation savings, enhance service levels and improve visibility of its North American operations.
Orion Engineered Carbons LLC is a leading global producer of carbon black. Carbon Black is consumed in tire production as well as various other industries, including plastics, printing inks and coatings.
