Transportation Intermediaries Association and the William Loveland College Announce Joint Program to Offer New ILM MBA

Alexandria, VA – August 7, 2014 - The Transportation Intermediaries Association and the William Loveland College have announced an agreement to offer a new William Loveland College dba Institute of Logistical Management (ILM) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) to TIA members and the larger logistics community.

ILM has agreed to offer semester credit hours towards the ILM MBA for anyone that has successfully completed TIA’s Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) program and TIA’s Ethics in Transportation Brokerage course. ILM is the oldest Logistics Distance Learning School in the world and has focused exclusively on Transportation and Logistics since 1923.

“This is an outstanding collaboration between the leaders in the distance learning in the logistics community. The collaboration between TIA and ILM will expand learning opportunities and help logistics professionals keep abreast of the changes in this dynamic industry,” said Robert Voltmann, TIA’s president and CEO. “We are very excited to be working with ILM to expand the reach and depth of our educational programs,” Voltmann added.

TIA and ILM continue to offer a joint program which will allow TIA to offer ILM’s courses to its members while ILM students will have access to TIA’s courses. Both TIA and ILM will collaborate to enhance existing course offerings while developing new curriculum to meet the demands of the market.
