NEWARK, CA --(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2011) - United Logistics Solutions, Inc. (ULS) purchased the ±155,500 square foot Cherry Technology Center at 38083 Cherry Street in Newark, CA. The building is situated on ±10.64 acres and includes ±10,000 square feet of office space, ±8,000 Amps, 277/480 Volt Power, 100% HVAC, 12 docks, 3 Grade Level Doors and a 4/1000 parking ratio. ULS is a member of the Apex Group, an organization of companies providing international supply chain services for over 20 years.

This is a great expansion facility for United Logistics Solutions, Inc. which purchased another ±143,086 square foot facility down the street on Central Avenue in Newark in October 2010. ULS relocated from Milpitas to Newark last year and outgrew their new facility in less than a year. They now occupy ±298,586 square feet in Newark. The new ±155,500 square foot facility affords them the flexibility to expand their distribution and assembly operations in the same area. It is not often that a single company is responsible for the largest User Purchase Transaction in the East Bay two years running, according to Casey Ricksen SIOR, Senior Vice President with Colliers International in Oakland.
